Oshkosh Coin Exchange offers appraisals of your collection for banks, insurance, and estate purposes. All our appraisals are done by the owner Chris Johnson. Chris is a well respected member of the industry and an active member of many trade organizations with over 15 years of experience collecting and dealing rare coins and collectibles.
All appraisals come with an itemized list of all your items, and will be presented and categorized as Chris and the Oshkosh Coin Exchange team see fit unless otherwise agreed upon.

Appraisal Information
In-Store Verbal Appraisals: Oshkosh Coin Exchange offers this service free of charge for single pieces and small quantities of coins. This is done at our discretion, and a fee will be billed for large quantities. This option is only valid at our store.
In-Store Appraisals: Appraisal fee is $175 per hour. This fee is calculated to the nearest one-quarter hour with a minimum of one-half hour. This fee is waived if more than 60% of your collection is sold to us at the time of the appraisal.
Out of Store Appraisals: Appraisal fee is $225 per hour. This fee is calculated to the nearest one-quarter hour and with a minimum of one hour. Time for travel billed at this rate. This fee is waived if more than 60% of your collection is sold to us at the time of appraisal.
Please call ahead of time for either an in-shop or on-site/in-home appraisal. Our schedule is hectic and we may have to book out a few weeks in advance. This allows us the opportunity to ensure we have the proper time and staff available to handle everything as needed. Please allow yourself ample time to be present for the appraisal as well.
